Our
partner Spanish Language school offers two types of immersion programs,
and both are available: group classes, and individual tutoring (private
lessons).
All of the Spanish courses, from beginner to the most
advanced, are made up of small groups of 1 to 6 students, which ensures
an ideal learning atmosphere.
The Spanish Language programs are very
flexible – you can decide to study from as little as one week or up to
as many as you like.
The school also arranges special Spanish immersion
programs to meet University, College or group needs at any time.

DAILY
ACTIVITIES
-9:00 AM to 11:00
AM Students are involved in direct Spanish language instruction with a native
instructor. All areas of Spanish language fluency are developed.
-11:00 AM to 11:15 AM Students go to break.
-11:15 AM to 1:00 PM Intensive Spanish classes with your instructor
resume.
-1:00 PM to 2:00 PM In addition to the classroom instruction, you
have unlimited access to our Multimedia Lab (email, Internet,
interactive Spanish programs), free of charge. Our students are strongly
encouraged to maximize their learning by attending our Multimedia Lab an
additional hour daily, though you may use the Multimedia Lab for as long
as you wish during school hours. This brings your number of hours to 25
weekly (20 hours of teacher instruction and a recommended minimum 5
hours of free lab time).
Students receive
the opportunity to be involved independently with our computer assisted
language laboratory. This is a service that will allow the Spanish
language student to reinforce the skill areas of pronunciation,
listening, reading, and writing at the same time. The students´
individual interests and areas of need are addressed as they work on the
area that they choose.
We also offer our students the
opportunity to participate in a language and cultural exchange group,
which will allow the student to practice his or her new language skills
with native Spanish speaking students in a relaxed, informal setting.
This activity is supervised by an instructor every afternoon, and is
free of charge; therefore adding an optional additional hour of
instruction per day.

AFTERNOONS AND EVENINGS
Students
are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of cultural
activities both here in the historical downtown area as well as around
the city of Guadalajara.
Extra-curricular activities included in your program

Group courses consist of 4 hours of class per day, from 9:00 am to 1:00
p.m., Monday through Friday. These courses focus on reading, writing,
speaking, and comprehension of the Spanish language, and follow an
established course content structure. Our partner school has new
courses
beginning every Monday of the month.

PLACEMENT
EXAMS
It
is very important to identify the Spanish student´s needs by using a placement
exam. Prior to the beginning of courses, a written and oral placement exam is
administered to determine the appropriate level for the student. The individual
nature of our intensive Spanish program makes it very important to identify the
right level of study for each student. Of course, no exam is necessary for those
who have never studied Spanish before. All exams are
included as part of the study program and without any extra charge.

PRIVATE
TUTORING
Our partner school's private tutoring
program gives students the option of studying from as
little as one hour per day, or many more hours per day depending on just
how intensive they'd like their program to be. Classes may begin any day
of the week Monday through Friday, and students may choose to follow one
of their existing course structures, focus only on areas of particular
interest or take advantage of their specialty courses like:

students are provided unlimited access to their Multimedia Lab (email, Internet,
interactive Spanish programs), free of charge. There are over 40 computers
available in their Multimedia Lab, with interactive Spanish learning programs
that can be used during school hours, from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 p.m., Monday
through Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays. All the
students are strongly encouraged to maximize their learning by attending the
Multimedia Lab for an additional hour daily, although students may use the
Multimedia Lab as long as they wish during school hours. This brings the number
of learning hours to 25 weekly (20 hours of teacher instruction and a
recommended minimum 5 hours of free lab time).

Our students are
strongly encouraged to maximize their learning by attending our
Multimedia Lab an additional hour daily, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. No
extra fee.
*As an added advantage, our students pay their homestay family
directly. Unlike many other institutions, we charge no homestay
placement fee or hidden commissions for this service. Please bring
the necessary cash or traveler´s checks to exchange for cash.
Since our courses are
designed to be taken by one week programs, the student may attend our
Spanish classes from as little as one week, to as long as desired.
Please note that after paying your registration fee you do not have to
pay this fee again when returning. We also offer additional discounts
for students taking more than four weeks of classes. In order to
receive the tuition discount you must cover your full tuition on your
first day of classes, please see below.
