program had been geared towards professionals in all health fields
demanding for a basic conversational
knowledge of Spanish.

Intensive Spanish program (20 Group classes and
10 one-to-one classes per week)
Purposes of the
course
Medical
Introductory Spanish Course
will cover a wide range of topics from anatomical vocabulary, medical
terminology and procedures to doctor-patient relationship. The student of
this course will learn systematically the different grammar structure in
his / her group classes and will focused in Medical Spanish in his / her
private classes. This course will allow English-speaking healthcare
professionals learn the basics for a better communication with
Spanish-speaking patients. All the lessons include role-playing
conversation drills with Healthcare terminology. The Intermediate classes
concentrated on conversational situation with patients.
This course
will allow healthcare professionals to make themselves understood in
simple situations using:

In this
course, structure, grammar and syntax are presented in a conversational
context. The exercises, role-plays and conversations in each unit are used
as springboards for the introduction of medical terminology and language
patterns.
